We've been busy over the past few years increasing the volume of funding we transfer to movements. We need someone to work with our Operations Manager to ensure smooth payment transfers, accurate Board and Audit reporting and good systems management.

Role: Finance and Admin Officer
Reports to: Operations Manager
Location: UK based remote/home working, some in person meetings in London
Salary: £28,000 (0.8 FTE) Initially 6 month contract (ideally Nov-April 2025), to be extended subject to funding and probation review.

Key responsibilities

Accurately follow monthly, quarterly and year end finance process checklists.

Manage supplier payments and the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation, eg invoicing and receipts.

Manage fund payments including liaising with recipients to ensure payment requests and agreements are completed to meet all requirements.

Provide support to the Operations Manager and Executive Director for the governance arrangements of the Trust including scheduling Board meetings, Away Days and the AGM.

Provide administrative support for application platform and movement networking sites and services.

Prepare financial reports, including reconciliation and compilation of monthly statements.

Liaise with external stakeholders, including vendors, clients, and financial institutions.

Manage the general queries that come in via the website and general email, liaising with the team as needed.

Provide general support to the Board and Executive Director as needed.

Engage confidently on movement support and communication; for example participating in movement workshops or gatherings, and movement onboarding or diligence as needed.
Key Skills

Good administrative skills

Some proficiency and experience in financial software and tools (e.g., Xero or QuickBooks, and Excel.)

Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
