UK Youth Climate Coalition (UKYCC) trains young people to become powerful advocates, organisers, and spokespeople on climate justice. They inspire action through youth-led campaigns and international solidarity.

Parents for Future activates parents and caregivers, building inclusive and resilient communities. They offer tools to engage with local schools, councils and MPs. Their campaigns bring climate conversations into family life and everyday community spaces.

Climate News Tracker empowers people to navigate media narratives and misinformation around climate. They provide clear, accessible insights and resources to help communities engage critically with climate news.

The Resilience Project supports young people experiencing climate anxiety by turning emotional overwhelm into community resilience. Through fellowships and peer-led Resilience Circles, they foster long-term engagement, care, and leadership.

Working Class Climate Alliance brings a class lens to climate, supporting action that directly intersects with the realities of economic precarity, job security, housing, and local services. They ensure that working-class voices are leading, not sidelined.

Climate Emergency UK demystifies local government climate action through accessible, crowdsourced scorecards and volunteer-led monitoring. They equip everyday citizens to understand, assess, and influence their councils’ performance.

Zero Hour channels support from the public, scientists, faith leaders, organisations, and councils into powerful democratic action in parliament to deliver legislation that ensures climate and nature action.

MP Watch mobilises constituents to hold their Members of Parliament accountable on climate policy. Their work turns passive frustration into active democratic participation, often in areas where engagement has been historically low.

Football For Future

Football for Future taps into the UK’s most popular cultural space — football — to deliver climate education to fans, clubs, and young players. They work with professional athletes, grassroots clubs, and major events to embed sustainability narratives into the sport.

Tipping Point supports climate action through grassroots mobilisation, direct action readiness, and creative campaigning. They mentor emerging organisers and help build the connective tissue between local groups and national impact.

Why?

The urgency of the climate crisis is accelerating, and so is the public’s readiness to act. Our coalition partners are already seeing increased demand for programs, from youth fellowships to local accountability tools. Public appetite for change—especially after recent weather shocks and political shifts—makes this a pivotal moment.

Collaboration and infrastructure-building take time; a multi-year investment now can shape long-term community resilience. The organisations in this coalition have already delivered powerful results on a shoestring — running national campaigns, reaching tens of thousands of people, and shifting narratives with minimal core funding. Much of this work has been volunteer-led or sustained by short-term grants, requiring constant fundraising that pulls energy away from delivery and growth. With the stability of multi-year funding, these groups could focus on deepening their impact, scaling proven models, and innovating new strategies without being trapped in the cycle of survival. The potential is enormous: with time, trust, and resources, these movements can not only sustain change — they can transform what climate action looks and feels like across the UK.
